“Sentenced to 28 years in prison for a crime he never committed. Only two things can get him out - A lot of money and Charles Bronson!”

A man is locked up in a Mexican prison for a crime he did not commit, and his wife, Ann Wagner (Jill Ireland), has found someone willing to get him out. Nick Colton (Charles Bronson), a bush pilot, takes the $50,000 job to free Jay Wagner (Robert Duvall), with Tom Gries directing. Nick has the money riding on it, Jay has his freedom, and neither gets either one unless this works.
