Breathe

“Time is running out.”

Maya (Jennifer Hudson) wants one thing in a world where the surface air has thinned past breathing: to keep her daughter Zora (Quvenzhané Wallis) alive in the one sealed, oxygenated home they have left. Then two strangers arrive at the door, Tess (Milla Jovovich) and a man named Lucas (Sam Worthington). Stefon Bristol keeps the film in that shelter, and what Maya decides about letting them in falls between a mother and the girl she is trying to protect.
