Brewster's Millions

(1985)Directed by Walter Hill97 min · PGComedy
“You don't have to be crazy to blow 30 million dollars in 30 days. But it helps.”

A dying great-uncle leaves Montgomery Brewster (Richard Pryor), a minor-league pitcher, a strange offer: spend $30 million in 30 days and he inherits $300 million. The catch is that he can't tell anyone why, and he can't end up with anything to show for it. Walter Hill puts Brewster beside his catcher Spike Nolan (John Candy), and the clock keeps running while the money has to go.
