Bride of Frankenstein

“More fearful than the monster himself!”

Henry Frankenstein (Colin Clive) is still recovering from the mob that nearly killed him and his creation when his old mentor, Doctor Pretorius (Ernest Thesiger), turns up at his door. Pretorius wants the experiments to start again, and Henry is too shaken to refuse. Meanwhile the Monster (Boris Karloff) stumbles on through the countryside, hunted by villagers, and James Whale films it all in deep shadow and tilted frames.
