Bride of the Gorilla

Barney Chavez (Raymond Burr), the overseer of a jungle plantation, marries Dina Van Gleder (Barbara Payton), the young wife of his employer, and a voodoo curse soon settles on him. Curt Siodmak puts Commissioner Taro (Lon Chaney Jr.) and Dr. Viet (Tom Conway) on the trail of the change, and no one can say whether the beast is real or only in his head. Barney lies awake in the plantation house at night, listening to the jungle and to himself.
