Every afternoon after school, Jesse Aarons (Julian Coutts) and the new girl Leslie Burke (Julie Beaulieu) disappear to a kingdom only the two of them know about, and they call it Terabithia. Eric Till made this 1985 television film for the PBS series WonderWorks, adapting Katherine Paterson's novel and shooting it in Edmonton.
