Daryl Ward (Will Smith) is an LAPD officer in a Los Angeles where humans, orcs and elves have always shared the streets, and his new partner is Nick Jakoby (Joel Edgerton), the first orc on the force. David Ayer sends the two into a turf battle tied to a magic wand and Tikka (Lucy Fry), the elf girl who carries it. Daryl rides in the passenger seat, watching his partner and the road, neither of them trusted by anyone.
