“He's not here to save the world.”

Brandon Breyer (Jackson A. Dunn) is a quiet boy growing up on a farm with his parents, Tori (Elizabeth Banks) and Kyle (David Denman), who took him in after a ship fell out of the sky. As he nears adolescence, his body begins to change and his powers show themselves, and the pull he feels toward them is not kind. Yarovesky stages the superhero origin as a horror film, shooting the family's home as the place where the boy's gifts turn on the people closest to him.
