(1986)Directed by Gene Saks108 min · PG-13Comedy

Eugene Morris Jerome (Jonathan Silverman), a teenage boy in Brooklyn, spends his days crammed into a house with his parents, his brother Stanley, his aunt and two cousins, filling a notebook with his thoughts about girls. Gene Saks directs Neil Simon's adaptation of his own play, and Eugene narrates it straight to the audience. Kate (Blythe Danner) and her sister Blanche (Judith Ivey) share a kitchen, and the film watches how they hold each other up.
