British Intelligence

(1939)Directed by Terry O. Morse61 minWar, Drama
“Although the home of cabinet minister Arthur Bennett is a hotbed of spies, moles, and double agents, no one knows the true identity of notorious German spymaster Strendler.”

Helene von Lorbeer (Margaret Lindsay), a German master spy in the middle of the First World War, wants to reach the war plans of a high British official. She is sent to London to live inside his family, where the butler Valdar (Boris Karloff) is waiting, also a spy for Germany. Terry O. Morse directs a story where every household is a place of secrets, and trust is only as good as the person across the table.
