Broadcasting Christmas

Nobody can say why Veronika (Jackée Harry), a talk show diva, wants Emily Morgan (Melissa Joan Hart) beside her on the couch, only that the offer lands two weeks before Christmas and could be Emily's big break. First she has to beat Charlie Fisher (Dean Cain), the anchor at the other local station, in a contest to find the best Christmas stories. Peter Sullivan sets the two of them against each other, Emily's father Stanley (Richard Kline) in the background.
