Broken

A violent attack on a North London cul-de-sac is witnessed by Skunk (Eloise Laurence), a young girl whose view of the street around her is changed in an instant. Her father Archie (Tim Roth) raises her alone, and two neighbouring families live close enough that every household's trouble reaches the others. Rufus Norris, directing his first feature, keeps Skunk at the centre as the adults around her fail her.
