Brothers

A Danish family lives in a house with two small daughters, a mother, and a father when Michael (Ulrich Thomsen), an officer, leaves for three months in Afghanistan. His wife Sarah (Connie Nielsen) stays behind, along with his brother Jannik (Nikolaj Lie Kaas), just out of prison. Susanne Bier follows what the household becomes once Michael is reported dead, with Sarah left to carry the weight of it.
