Bruno Reidal: Confession of a Murderer
In Raulhac, in the Cantal, on September 1, 1905, the young seminarian Bruno Reidal (Dimitri Doré) kills a child in the forest outside his hometown and then gives himself up to the authorities. Vincent Le Port, in his first feature, builds the film on a real case and on the account Bruno gives of himself while in custody. Bruno speaks plainly about his childhood and his faith, and the film stays on the boy who did it.
