Buba

Nobody in town can explain why Jakob Otto (Bjarne Mädel), who goes by Buba, can't stop keeping a tally of his good and bad deeds. He is a small-time con artist, and he follows his brother Dante (Georg Friedrich) into the local mafia, where the tally gets harder to keep balanced. Arne Feldhusen has Buba set in a small town, and the camera stays close on Mädel's wide, earnest face as he works out what he owes.
