Bubble Boy

“Life is an adventure. Don't blow it.”

Jimmy Livingston (Jake Gyllenhaal) was born without an immune system and has spent his whole life inside a sterile plastic dome in his bedroom, kept there by his protective mother (Swoosie Kurtz). His one real attachment is the girl next door, Chloe (Marley Shelton), who is about to marry her high school boyfriend. Blair Hayes sends Jimmy across the country in a portable bubble suit, a boy who has never touched the outside world now walking straight into it.
