Buck Privates Come Home

(1947)Directed by Charles Barton77 minComedy, Romance, Action
“They're Out of the Army!”

Herbie Brown (Lou Costello) comes home from overseas with a French orphan girl hidden in his luggage, and he has no plan for what happens when anyone finds her. His buddy Slicker Smith (Bud Abbott) is quick with a scheme, and soon the two are mixed up with a race-car builder hunting for backers, and with their old sergeant, who still can't stand them. Charles Barton sets the little midget racer loose, its engine whining and the two men clinging on.
