Buck Rogers in the 25th Century

In 2491, a global holocaust is five centuries behind Earth, and the planet is now fighting an interplanetary war. Capt. William "Buck" Rogers (Gil Gerard), a cheerful space pilot from 1987, is thrown into that century by an accident and finds his flying is exactly what the Earth Defense Directorate needs. Daniel Haller sets him beside Col. Wilma Deering (Erin Gray), and the movie's whole idea is that a man out of his time can still be useful.
