Buddies

David Bennett (David Schachter), a graduate student in New York, signs up as a volunteer "buddy" to men dying of AIDS and is sent to Robert Willow (Geoff Edholm), a lifelong activist whose friends and family have all stopped coming around. The two disagree about nearly everything, and David's patience is tested early. Arthur J. Bressan Jr. made the first feature to take on the epidemic and keeps it small, mostly two men talking in a hospital room.
