Buddy Buddy

“The greatest movie buddies of all time are back!”

Victor Clooney (Jack Lemmon) is a depressed man whose wife has left him, and he checks into a hotel near the Riverside County courthouse intending to end his life. The room next door belongs to Trabucco (Walter Matthau), a hired killer waiting to carry out a job during a Mafia trial. Billy Wilder, in his last film as writer and director, makes a comedy out of one man's despair and the neighbor who cannot get any peace from it.
