Bulbbul

“A fairy tale like no other”

In 1880s Bengal, men in a village are turning up dead, and the whispers point to a figure that moves through the trees at night. Bulbbul (Triptii Dimri) was married off as a child and now presides over the household as its quiet, watchful mistress, while Satya (Avinash Tiwary) returns after years away and starts asking questions. Anvita Dutt builds the film around a woman whose silence is the only thing the household ever allowed her.
