Bullet Boy

“You only get one shot at life.”

Nobody on the Hackney estate can say why a quarrel between Wisdom and a local rude boy keeps getting worse. Ricky (Ashley Walters), just out of a young offenders institute and set on going straight, takes his friend's side anyway, and Saul Dibb follows the tit-for-tat incidents that stack up after it. At home, his mother Beverley (Clare Perkins) warns against it, while his twelve-year-old brother Curtis (Luke Fraser) watches Ricky and decides what kind of man to be.
