The Nameless Monk (Chow Yun-Fat) has spent sixty years crossing the world with the Scroll of the Ultimate, and he has not aged a day. In a city made up of Toronto and Hamilton, he picks the scroll's next keeper from a crowd of strangers and settles on Kar (Seann William Scott), a selfish street kid who cares about himself and little else. Paul Hunter's debut runs on the idea that power is only worth giving to someone who can learn to put it down.
