Bullhead

“My whole life I’ve known nothing but animals.”

Jacky Vanmarsenille (Matthias Schoenaerts) is a young cattle farmer who wants to keep the family herd going, and a crooked veterinarian offers him a way to do it. The deal means working with a notorious beef trader and the hormone mafia, who pay or threaten farmers to dose their animals despite the law. Michaël R. Roskam sets Jacky's bond with Diederik Maes (Jeroen Perceval), an old friend, against that deal.
