Bulworth

“Brace yourself. This politician is about to tell the truth!”

Jay Bulworth (Warren Beatty), a California senator in the middle of his re-election run, has paid a hired killer to end his life, and now he says whatever he thinks, in rhymes borrowed from hip-hop, to whoever is in the room. Warren Beatty also directs, following him through donor dinners and church halls and into the company of Nina (Halle Berry). Under the jokes, the film is about how little of what politicians say to voters is true.
