In 1930 Paris, Luis Buñuel (Jorge Usón) has no money and no work after the uproar over his last film. His friend Ramón Acín (Fernando Ramos), a sculptor, buys a lottery ticket and says that if it wins, he will pay for Buñuel's next picture. Salvador Simó animates the story from Fermín Solís's graphic novel, drawing the making of Land Without Bread in soft, hand-drawn color.
