Burlesque

“It takes a legend... to make a star”

Alice "Ali" Rose (Christina Aguilera) leaves a troubled life behind and arrives in Los Angeles with a dream and not much else. She takes a job as a cocktail waitress at the Burlesque Lounge, a once-grand theater that still houses a musical revue run by Tess (Cher). Steve Antin follows her from the bar to the stage, where Ali keeps vowing she will perform and will not stay a waitress.
