Megan (Natasha Lyonne) is a high school cheerleader with a boyfriend, and she'd rather not kiss him. Her conservative parents read the signs and ship her off to a residential camp that promises to teach her to be straight, run by Mary Brown (Cathy Moriarty) and a counselor named Mike (RuPaul). Jamie Babbit stages the camp as a bright, candy-colored place where everything is cheerful and nobody is allowed to say what they feel.
