“I Could Love You If You'd Let Me”

Don Baker (Edward Albert) is blind, and he has moved into a San Francisco apartment to prove he can live on his own, away from his overprotective mother. Next door is Jill Tanner (Goldie Hawn), a free-spirited neighbor who is quickly won over by his quick wit, and Milton Katselas keeps the story close to the two of them. Then Mrs. Baker (Eileen Heckart) arrives, determined to protect her son from being hurt.
