By the Time It Gets Dark
Ann (Visra Vichit-Vadakan), a film-maker preparing a project on the 1976 massacre of Thai students, drives to a mountain retreat to interview Taew, a survivor of that day. Over the course of the project her view of what she is making begins to shift. Anocha Suwichakornpong cuts the film in loose, unhurried pieces that let the past and the present sit side by side.
