Cairo Conspiracy

Adam (Tawfeek Barhom), a fisherman's son, wins a place at Al-Azhar University in Cairo, the seat of Sunni Islamic learning. Days after he arrives, the Grand Imam dies, and the student finds himself a pawn between Egypt's clerics and its state security men, among them Ibrahim (Fares Fares). Tarik Saleh sets a contest for faith and power inside one institution, where belief and authority are hard to pull apart.
