Calamity

In 1863, Martha Jane (Salomé Boulven) rides in a wagon convoy across the American West, and she has to learn to handle horses so she can drive her family's wagon. She puts on pants and cuts her hair, and the scandal that follows pushes her into a huge, wild country. Rémi Chayé draws it in flat, bright color, and Martha Jane sits at the reins in her trousers with her cropped hair, the horses ahead of her.
