Calendar

A photographer (Atom Egoyan) and his wife, the Translator (Arsinée Khanjian), drive across Armenia to photograph churches for a calendar, guided by a local Driver (Ashot Adamyan). Egoyan directs himself in the role, and as the shoot nears its end, husband and wife stop sharing the same ground. The Driver stands between them in the back of every frame, and the churches go on standing behind all three.
