It is the end of summer in 1962, and three friends from a small town point a car toward Hollywood with one goal: to meet Marilyn Monroe. Roy Darpinian (Jason Priestley) leads the trip, and Ned Bleuer (Gabriel Olds) and Scott Foreman (Jerry O'Connell) go along, each with a different idea of what they want from her. John Whitesell keeps the three of them in one car, and the trip tests how well they actually know each other.
