Califano

Franco Califano (Leo Gassmann) wants to be a legend, a crooner who writes his own songs and lives on his own terms. The film traces twenty years from Rome's Dolce Vita through his rise as a musician, his loves and reversals, toward a concert at the Teatro Parioli in 1984. What matters most, though, is how Antonello Mazzeo (Giampiero De Concilio) stays beside him through the peaks and the ruins.
