Call Jane

“You are not alone.”

A pregnancy threatens the life of Joy (Elizabeth Banks), a suburban housewife in 1960s America, and the hospital board will not let her end it. Someone points her to a number to call, and it leads to the Jane Collective, an underground network run by women like Virginia (Sigourney Weaver), and Phyllis Nagy follows Joy as she goes from patient to helper. Joy sits in her tidy kitchen with the phone in her hand.
