Camille Claudel
Her talent pulls the young sculptor Camille Claudel (Isabelle Adjani) away from her family and toward the studio of Auguste Rodin (Gérard Depardieu), who takes her on as his apprentice. Bruno Nuytten follows her as her work and her feeling for the older man grow into the same obsession. Camille keeps shaping clay and stone, sure the art will hold her, while her hold on reason starts to loosen.
