Camp Rock

“Don't fit in. Stand out.”

Mitchie Torres (Demi Lovato) wants to be a singer, and her family can only afford music camp if her mother, Connie (Maria Canals-Barrera), takes a job cooking there. Once she arrives, Mitchie lets the other campers assume her life is fancier than it is, and she crosses paths with Tess Tyler (Meaghan Jette Martin). Matthew Diamond directs it as a Disney Channel musical, staging the songs around the camp and its lakeside jam sessions.
