Canadian Bacon

“It's lonely at the top when there's no butt left to kick.”

Why would the U.S. President suddenly want a cold war with Canada? His polls are low, and his advisors, among them Stuart Smiley (Kevin Pollak) and General Dick Panzer (Rip Torn), tell him a fight with a neighbor might fix it. Michael Moore puts Sheriff Bud B. Boomer (John Candy) and his deputies in the way, and if the plan takes hold, the whole border is the cost.
