Josh Hasty's Candy Corn

“This year there's a new Halloween tradition.”

On Halloween eve in 1980, a local outcast named Julien Cummings is killed by people who barely seem to care. Dr. Death (Pancho Moler), a drifting witch doctor, brings him back to hunt down the ones responsible, while Sheriff Sam Bramford (Courtney Gains) and a carnival's worth of locals get in the way. Josh Hasty shoots it grainy and low-lit, like a late-night rental from the era it's set in.
