Candyman: Day of the Dead

“A bloody legacy.”

Caroline McKeever (Donna D'Errico) is an artist in East Los Angeles, and she is the great-granddaughter of Daniel Robitaille, the murdered man who became the spirit known as Candyman (Tony Todd). The Day of the Dead is coming to the barrio, and the legend of the hook-handed ghost, who kills those who call him, has started to attach itself to her. Turi Meyer shoots the neighborhood in the build-up to the holiday and keeps the film's tension tied to the calendar.
