“BITE IT”

An online ad goes up looking for a volunteer to be killed and eaten, and Bernd Jürgen Brandes (Victor Brandl) answers it. Marian Dora, in his first feature, stages the meeting with Armin Meiwes (Carsten Frank) as a true-crime reconstruction, and the film stays close to the two men in the house. Meiwes has built his life around one fantasy, and the film never looks away from him.
