Capri-Revolution

Lucia (Marianna Fontana) is an illiterate shepherdess on Capri in 1914, and she wants a life larger than her goats and her family's small plot. When a commune of foreign artists settles on the island, led by Seybu (Reinout Scholten van Aschat), she is drawn to their way of living. Mario Martone films the island in bleached, open light and keeps the coming war at the edge of the frame.
