Caprice Italian Style

Totò, as an elderly man named Iago, is one of the faces who wants to be at the center of six short stories, each by a different director. Monicelli and Steno are among them, alongside Pier Paolo Pasolini, and each brings a warm, teasing irony to the news of the day. Franco and Ciccio share the bill with Totò, and the old comedian and the younger duo play off one another across the stories.
