Captain Blood

“A million dollars worth of adventure!”

Why would an English doctor, convicted of treason for tending a wounded man, end up flying a pirate flag across the West Indies? Dr. Peter Blood (Errol Flynn) is shipped to a cruel island captivity, where Arabella Bishop (Olivia de Havilland) is the niece of his jailer, Colonel Bishop (Lionel Atwill). Michael Curtiz keeps the escape and the sea raids moving, and Blood is staking his freedom, and his life, on a crew of fellow prisoners.
