Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) is a fighter pilot with no memory of her past, training as a soldier for an alien empire under the command of Yon-Rogg (Jude Law). When a mission goes wrong and she crashes to Earth, she teams up with Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent hunting shapeshifting invaders. She discovers powers she never knew she had, and the empire that raised her is not what it seemed.
