“As great as "Mutiny on the Bounty"”

Harvey Cheyne (Freddie Bartholomew) is a spoiled rich boy with an absent father, used to getting his way until he tumbles off a transatlantic steamship. A fishing schooner pulls him from the water on the Grand Banks, and the crew shrugs at his demands to be taken ashore. Victor Fleming puts him to work under Captain Disko Troop (Lionel Barrymore), alongside the fisherman Manuel (Spencer Tracy), and Harvey has to learn how to be a boy among men who owe him nothing.
