Carmen & Lola

“Family or love? You can't have both...”

The way Lola (Zaira Romero) does graffiti and talks about university sets her apart from every other girl Carmen (Rosy Rodriguez) knows, and Carmen is a gypsy teenager expected to marry young and raise as many children as she can. Arantxa Echevarría follows the two as a friendship grows into a love their families will not accept. Staying inside the community and becoming who she is turn out to be two separate choices, and Carmen can only make one of them.
