Carnage: Swallowing the Past

It's 2067 and the UK has gone vegan, which leaves the older generation sitting with the guilt of what they used to eat. Simon Amstell, directing and narrating, builds a mock documentary around Dr Yasmine Vondenburg (Linda Bassett) and Jeff (Martin Freeman), who recall meat-eating the way people recall a war. Between them and the younger ones who can't understand it, the film is about forgiveness, asked for and slowly offered.
