Carnifex

“Some species should remain extinct.”

A new creature is moving through the Outback after the bushfires, and nobody who has seen it can say what it is. Bailey (Alexandra Park), an aspiring documentarian, goes in with two conservationists, Grace (Sisi Stringer) and Ben (Harry Greenwood), to film the animals the flames have driven from their homes. Sean Lahiff keeps the camera in the bleached, burnt country and lets the dread build slowly.
